My personal opinion of "private blogs"..... I mean this is me being sad (and Amber too... we're trapped in the Chu Chi Tunnels actually!) that I hardly get my family's updates cus they're ALL PRIVATE Blogs!!!! BOOOOOOO! So I totally didn't see the Oprah that talked about crazy people and blogs, but really? Are you all cutting out news clippings on how to spot a rapist? serial killer?! Blog stalkers? *thanks Cameron!* What is the world of blogging coming to?!?

Hey, so there actually is a way to follow private blogs too. Blogger has a thing called reading lists, and when you put in blogs to follow, it will update you on private blogs too (Just read about it on McKenna's blog) Haven't actually done it yet, but I plan on setting it up soon- I know, I hate private blogs too (even though I am now one!). Can't wait to see you SOON!

Hey Court...lemme know if it works. I tried that reading list thing it still wouldn't show the private blogs. Maybe I did it wrong?
The show actually wasn't about Blogs. It was about child pornography. After I watched the first 10 miutues I feel like it would be very foolish of me to believe that there weren't total psycho crazy people stalking family blogs and taking pictures of children, photo shopping them and trading them as child porn on the internet. So sorry about it! I just don't like the idea of pictures of my kids floating around in cyber space for anyone to have access to. I have felt in the past like I'm pretty up to speed on issues that have to do with child molestation/porn etc. Like I know it goes on and I have to do what I can to protect my family but the word SHOCKED doesn't even begin to adequately describe what that Oprah show did to me. I am literally shaken to the core!

It seems like that's a parallel to people who read true crime books. They start thinking that half the people in the world are murderers. I just don't believe it.

I stopped watching Oprah two years ago when she lost touch with reality- so I missed the child porn show episode. Hence the not private blog that you are free to browse as time allows :) Another reason why I'll always be your favorite cousin.
In response to Jenn, I'm not crazy paranoid or weird and I don't think half the world are murderer. I actually don't even think half the people out there look at child porn. I'm a realistic person and I'm just doing what I can to protect my kids from those that do. I get that its a total inconvenience to not have the feed on reader so If you don't want to look at my blog cause its private then its your loss Court.
No one called anyone crazy or paranoid.... calm down!

ps---have you figured out how to follow blogs through google? i'm very confused about it cause I haven't been able to follow any private blogs but I have followers on mine that have added since I went private. I figure there's got to be a way to follow if you're an approved reader on the blog. I totally know its a pain cause now its a pain for me to check private blogs but maybe we can all figure out the following thing to make it easier!
So just for you sweet cousin...I started a blog www.blogupdater.blogspot.com and everytime I update my annoyingly private blog I'll let everyone know on the blog updater...get it?
